Sustainability

We are committed to sustainable practices and reducing our impact on the environment. We understand the responsibility and are proud to take action—through made-to-order production that reduces waste, and eco-friendly packaging with biodegradable materials where possible.

Made-to-Order Only

We design each piece to order to reduce waste and keep production small-scale and intentional. By making jewelry only when it’s requested, we prioritize quality, longevity, and better use of materials — not mass production destined for landfill.

Our Packaging

Paper-first・Reusable

We design our packaging to be paper-first, tactile, and reusable. Heavy rigid boxes and some wrapped/velvet-lined cases often combine different materials (plastic linings, adhesives, metallic vinyl foils) that make recycling or composting difficult — so we avoid them. Instead we use FSC-certified, eco-friendly papers, neutral tissue, and a small reusable pouch. Wherever possible we choose single-material solutions so items can be recycled or composted locally. If you’d like to reduce packaging further, choose "No Pouch" option at checkout or leave a note — we’ll happily accommodate it. (Packaging designed to be recyclable where local facilities allow.)

Cushioning Materials

Honeycomb Paper

Honeycomb paper is a eco-friendly and biodegradable alternative to plastic bubble wrap, which provides shock absorption when stretched.

Cornstarch Foam

Cornstarch foam is a cushioning and void-filling material that is biodegradable, compostable, and water-soluble.

Cork Foam

We use cork foams to lessen delivery damage for very fragile items, such as our fiber art pieces. They are non-toxic, unscented, and safe for the environment.

Disposal Guide

Recyle

  • Remove all non-paper elements (ie. wax seals and stickers) before recycling paper components.

  • Flatten paper parts and recycle with your local paper waste.

Compostable Materials

  • Cornstarch foam: plant-based and water-soluble — dissolve in water or compost where accepted.

  • Cork foam: remove any fabric cover; reuse, compost, or recycle where accepted.

Others

  • Reusable fabric pouches: intended for reuse — keep, donate, or follow local textile-recycling options if disposal is necessary.

  • Fabric covers (for fiber art): meant for reuse; if discarding, treat as textiles.

  • Items that cannot be recycled or composted should be disposed of as general waste according to your local rules.

*Note: Collection and processing vary by location — if unsure, follow your municipal guidance.

ONE AND ONLY

Our mother planet is the only planet we can live on and enjoy its beauty.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our sustainability practices and to make a positive impact on the future of our planet.
